On more than one occasion, and in fact just recently with a stranger who showed up at my door selling solar panels, I've been in
discussions about God, the Bible, salvation and just religion in general. I've spent decades listening and watching different Bible
studies, informational videos or audio tracks, sermons, studies, research findings, etc. I've come across some really quality content
during that time, and ignored content that either was not that good or did not align with what the Bible actually says. In my discussions
with people, they invariably get to the point where they say they are "spiritual" and they don't trust "organized religion". They also
question the validity of the Bible and is it the word of God. There is content readily available, for free, where one can
read, listen or watch and they can get an understanding (in simple to understand terms) of whatever Biblical topic or question they
may have. Things like - is the Bible trustworthy? Can we determine if it is from man or God? Is one church better than another or which
church teaches from the Bible? What about science and the Bible - are these contradictory or complementary? Is there a heaven and a hell?
How can I be sure I go to heaven? That's what this webpage is for - a vetted list of content answering these specific questions and more
from sources I trust based on years of experience. I've identified five individuals (ministries) and an Intelligent Design category that I have links to in each section making it easy to navigate. These five are: • Chuck Missler - He passed away in 2018, but he has wonderful content using real science to support the Bible. • Skip Heitzig - He is paster at Calvary Chapel in Albuquerque, NM and has awesome Bible studies and sermons. • Kent Hovind - Controversial but awesome creationist with an entire Creation Seminar, and debates professors. • Lee Strobel - Atheist-turned-Christian bestselling author and journalist investigates the Bible to disprove it. • Ken Ham - Australian Christian fundamentalist, creationist, apologist and president of Answers in Genesis. • Design - This includes videos that focus on Intelligent Design, not even focusing on the Bible or God specifically. Below I've summarized selected topics from these individuals/ministries, but only the most popular and relevant items as each of these sources have much more content online. I provide links to their sites so you can explore further, but these should provide the foundation you need. I should point out each one of these individuals have their critics and detractors that you can easily find online by a simple Internet search. Even beyond critics and naysayers, they have haters and trolls. One of the individuals has a webpage to their content which was hijacked by a hacker and now it goes straight to a YouTube video that attacks him and his message. Perhaps some reading this fall into that category as well. I watch a lot of YouTubers and most are kind, wonderful people, and yet every one of them has a list of haters and trolls who leave the most hateful, vile comments on their videos. Some of them even stalk the YouTubers and they've had to take legal action. When you put yourself out there, there will ALWAYS be someone just looking for a target to attack, critizie and terrorize. If ever anyone needed this message, it's those who love to hate and troll others. Our life on this earth is short, then each person will answer for their life. If you wait until you die, it's too late. This is simply a single page, a jumping off point, to have quick and easy access to these items. I share this with friends and others I encounter so they have a resource, which is especially important when I have little time to talk with someone one-to-one. The goal is to share information, to give people another perspective that they may not be aware of, allow them to decide for themselves. If you are an unbeliever, athiest, agnostic, other faith or whatever, I hope this gives you some insight that may be useful. If you are already a believer, I hope it strengthens your faith. Someone has already asked me why I have a picture of a cemetery at the top of this page. Two reasons. One is that many of the lessons come from those who have gone before us; their bodies are in the grave but their soul is with the Lord. The other reason, the photo above is the cemetery where my father is buried. He died of cancer in 1984, but he was a strong Christian even though he had a rough life. I also have cancer and I have a daughter with it as well, although her's is in remission. None of us know how much time we have. We should make the most of it, but more than that, we should know where we are going to go when we die. I thought a photo of a cemetery brings that point home. I'm going to leave this with a story that just happened. To give a bit of background, in 2016 I worked with a group of individuals on a team and we became really close. We had an awesome team. We did team events together, like going out to eat, doing the escape room, going bowling or just visiting with one another. Rarely in my career have I had such a wonderful team of people to work with, but these people were, and still are, my friends. The company we worked for, which I won't name, went through a lot of turmoil. They made bad business decisions and wasted lots of money. Originally, when they first started out as a business, they were focused on the employee, giving them the best experience ever and even touted their business as a wonderful place to work, and it was. Then it changed. They took the standard business mantra and started cutting benefits and devaluing their employees, especially older workers who had been there many decades. Loyalty was no longer a currency. This resulted in layoffs, even though they would later hire younger, cheaper workers and farm business abroad. One day we walk into work and our entire business unit, over 150 employees, are brought together in a big conference room and told we are being laid off. Our team was given the additional option to either leave (with a layoff package), or relocate to another city, but we had to work until end of year to transition our work to a group in India. All of us worked to the end of the year, then one moved to a new city and the rest of us left the company so we could stay in the same city. We stayed in contact and scheduled many lunches to meet up now and again. Since then, two of us were diagnosed with cancer and are still undergoing treatment, one of our teammate's sisters drowned in a river and then yesterday (as of now, the day I'm writing this), one of our teammates died in a horrible motorcycle accident. Actually, he had the accident and passed away last week, but we just found out yesterday. He had been driving his motorcycle and somehow lost control. He was far from a hospital so was airlifted to a nearby city. On the way, as we understand it, his heart actually stopped, but they revived him enroute and he was admitted into the hospital with serious injuries. His parents were able to be by his side that night and he told them when his heart was stopped he saw God and he knew he would be okay. They were able to visit for awhile, but the meds kicked in and he wanted to rest. His parents left and he passed away in his sleep that night. Yesterday one of our teammates learned from a relative of her's who had simply overheard a conversation about our friend who died what had happened to him, and she let us all know. We lost a friend and someone we loved very much. Two of us had talked to him on the phone the day before he died. He was moving up in his career to become a manager, had a wonderful family and the future looked bright for him. In an instant, he was gone. Our team is getting together to have a memorial for him in the coming weeks. That's why this message is important. If God exists and He has a plan and we have an ultimate destiny, shouldn't we do everything we can to know for sure what is true and what is not? Life is short, too short. Do you really want to gamble on eternity? Assume you're an atheist or just non-believer and you die believing you go into nothingness. If you're right, you won't know about it at all, because there will be nothing. If you are wrong, and there is a God who required you to make a decision to enter Heaven, and you did not, then the cost is very high. Conversely, if you are a Christian who believes in God, believes in the Bible, and has accepted salvation, then you die, if you were wrong no harm done. If you were right, then eternity in Heaven. When I was a kid I would listen to Christian cassette tapes and one preacher was named John C. Clayton. In one of his tapes he said even if someone could prove today there was no God, he would still live the Christian life because it is such a rewarding life to live. I never forgot that. So, know where you're going and how to get there. If you do, you will not fear death. Not one bit. Above is OnePlace.com site that has links to much more content. I have 5 ministries linked here, where they have hundreds. Some of the one's that you can search for on OnePlace that are real good include: A Daily Walk with John Randall, A New Beginning with Greg Laurie, Adventures in Odyssey by Focus on the Family (made for kids, really great), Family Talk with Dr. James Dobson, Focal Point with Pastor Mike Fabarez, Focus on the Family with Jim Daly, Grace to You with John MacArthur, In Touch Ministries with Charles Stanley, Insight for Living with Chuck Swindoll, Max on Life with Max Lucado, Moody Church Hour with Dr. Edwin W. One of the wisest Christians I've ever encountered, and met only once, is Chuck Missler
(http://www.chuckmissler.com). He had a radio show for decades called 66/40,
which stands for one of Chuck Misslers famous tag lines that the Bible is "66 books, written by 40 authors, over thousands of years
...and we now discover it's from outside our time domain." Chuck Missler and his wife Nancy founded Koinonia House (K-House) to aid in the study
and understanding of the Bible - not only the words in the Bible and their meaning, but the history, science and significance.
In the About Us section of the K-House website, it states "Koinonia is a New Testament word which is most often translated to mean 'communication', 'fellowship', or 'communion'. Koinonia House, or K-House as we are affectionately called, is dedicated to the development and distribution of materials for encouraging and facilitating serious study of the Bible as the inerrant Word of God. We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. [K-House mission is] to create, develop, and distribute materials to stimulate, encourage, and facilitate serious study of the Bible as the inerrant Word of God. K-House was founded by Chuck and Nancy Missler. Chuck, a Naval Academy graduate and former Branch Chief of the Dept. of Guided Missiles, had a remarkable 30-year executive career. He served on the Board of Directors of 12 public companies and was CEO of 6 of them. For twenty years Chuck balanced his high-profile corporate career with his teaching commitment to a weekly Bible study at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in Southern California. Nancy, while raising their four children, has touched the lives of thousands through her in-depth teaching of Biblical discoveries in her 'Way of Agape' and 'Be Ye Transformed' books and tape series. After a devastating earthquake in 1992 demolished their home in Big Bear, California, Chuck and Nan moved Koinonia House to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and K-House now reaches tens of thousands through its monthly newsletter, radio shows, podcast, Bible study materials, and conferences. More than eight million Bible study resources have been distributed in the U.S. and in over 35 countries around the world." If you would like to read more detailed information about The Misslers, click here. The Misslers are now gone to be with the Lord in Heaven, but they have left a great legacy behind. Nancy Missler passed away on November 11, 2015; there's a beautiful Obituary Tribute to her that you can watch. Chuck Missler passed away on May 1, 2018. You can see his funeral service on this link if you like. "This is the funeral service celebrating the earthly ministry of an incredible man." Chuck Missler has created a lot of Bible studies over his lifetime, and his most popular take on the Bible from a scientific perspective, as he was a man of science. Below you will find titles from him that go deep into science and reveal how the Bible is accurate and can be trusted. They also have a Koinonia House YouTube Channel that hosts a lot of videos you may find interesting beyond those described below. |
Beyond Time and Space: "Are there more than four dimensions to physical reality? Is it possible to traverse time as well as space? Is there a reality beyond our traditional concepts of time and space? The startling discovery of modern science is that our physical universe is actually finite. Scientists now acknowledge that the universe had a beginning. They call the singularity from which it all began the 'Big Bang.' While the detail among the many variants of these theories remain quite controversial, the fact that there was a definite beginning has gained widespread agreement. This is, of course, what the Bible has maintained throughout its 66 books."
Beyond Coincidence:
"Is our universe some kind of cosmic accident, or is it the result of careful and skillful design? What do scientists mean by 'The
Anthropic Principle'? When compiling the many physical and mathematical subtleties which make up our universe, scientist have
discovered that a slight variation in any of them militates against the existence of life. Even at the atomic and sub-atomic level,
the slightest variation in any of the primary constants of physics - some as sensitive as one part in over 1,000,000 - cause life
to be impossible. Even secular science refers to these appearances of apparent design as the 'anthropic principle,' since they
yield the impression that the universe was designed specifically for man."
Beyond Perception: "Why do scientists now believe we live in a 10-dimensional universe? Has physics finally reached the very boundaries of reality? There seems to be evidence to suggest that our world and everything in it are only ghostly images: projections from a level of reality so beyond our own that the real reality is literally beyond both space and time. The main architect of this astonishing idea is one of the world's most eminent thinkers- physicist David Bohm, a protege of Einstein's. Earlier, he noticed that, in plasmas, particles stopped behaving like individuals and started behaving as if they were part of a larger and inter connected whole. He continued his work in the behavior of oceans of these particles, noting their behaving as if they know what each on the untold trillions of individual particles were doing."
Beyond Newton: "How can a star, distant from us, gravitationally affect our Sun? Where is the missing 95% of matter in the universe? Do dark matter and, even, black holes really exist? Astronomers explain their views relying on the 17th and 18th century tools of their forefathers, Kepler and Newton: gravity, fluid mechanics, and the magnetism of loadstone, rather than those of the 19th century - James Clerk Maxwell and electromagnetic field theory. Beyond Newton explores the challenges to current astronomy by scientists who have discovered that the entire volume of our galaxy is filled with diffuse clouds of magnetized plasma - electrically charged ionized particles."
Technology and the Bible: Session 1, Technologies Anticipated Session 2, The Frontiers of Science "'Except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.' If we were reading this in 1860 - before the Civil War - we would have a difficult time anticipating that 'all flesh' could wipe itself out with muskets and bayonets! But today a potential nuclear cloud hangs over every geopolitical decision on the Planet Earth. We take passages in the Bible for granted, often failing to recognize the technological changes that are implied by them. In this briefing we've assembled a small sampling of technology statements, which we hope will reveal a perspective that may surprise many."
Digging Up The Truth "Skeptics ridicule, and historians mock, but each time the archaeologist's spade penetrates the soil of history they are silenced. Join Chuck Missler and the real-life Indiana Jones, Bob Cornuke, as they take you on an overview of the archaeological proof for the Bible. Bob and Chuck will also talk about the modern world of archaeology. This briefing is an incredible tool that will strengthen and equip you in your defense of the Faith." |
How We Got Our Bible: "Where did our Bible come from? How good are the texts? Why do we believe its origin is supernatural? How do we know that it really is the Word of God? How accurate are our translations? Which version is the best? Chuck Missler, an internationally recognized Biblical authority, reviews the origin of both the Old and New Testaments in light of recent discoveries and controversies." Knowing where we got our Bible aids in your understanding of the foundation of the Christian faith. It helps you know, for yourself, that you can depend on the Bible and share that understanding with others.
How To Study The Bible: Session 1, Getting Started Session 2, Seven Pitfalls "Which translation is best? Which Study Bible? What are the secrets of resolving difficult or controversial passages? From forty years of intensive Bible study and teaching, Missler shares his favorite helps, secrets and practical suggestions on how to take the Bible seriously. Most Christians, although they want to do in-depth Bible study, know little of the types, philosophies and tools of study available. Is the Bible to be taken literally or figuratively? These studies produce the most lasting results."
Hidden Treasures in the Biblical Text: "For the novice as well as the sophisticate, this study is full of surprises. It includes subtle discoveries lying just 'beneath' the text -- hidden messages, encryptions, deliberate misspellings and other amendments to the text -- that present implications beyond the immediate context, demonstrating a skillful design that has its origin from outside our space and time. Drawing upon over forty years of collecting, Chuck highlights in this study many of the precious nuggets that have become characteristic of his popular Bible studies around the world. It is guaranteed to stimulate, prove, and, hopefully, disturb."
Learn The Bible in 24 Hours: "Using sound scientific facts, historical analysis, and Biblical narrative, acclaimed teacher Dr. Chuck Missler weaves together a rich tapestry of information–providing an accurate understanding of Scripture’s relation to itself, to us, and to the world at large. Examine the heroic tales of Exodus, the lasting wisdom of Proverbs, or even the enigmatic imagery of Revelation with the simple, Scripturally sound insights and fresh perspectives found in Learn the Bible in 24 Hours. Whether you want to explore some of the less-discussed nuances of Scripture or you need a comprehensive refresher course on the Bible’s themes and stories, Learn the Bible in 24 Hours is a great guide."
Heaven and Hell:
"What Happens When You Die? We don't like to think about death. It's not a pleasant subject, and we avoid even discussing it seriously or giving
it any diligent study. Yet our appointment with death is the most certain event in our future. We all know of personal examples when death has
come suddenly to people, without warning, without preparations; car accidents, stray bullets, unforeseen strokes. When it comes our time, what
do we expect death to be like? How will we enter eternity?"
Eternal Security: Session 1, How Sure Can We Be? Session 2, Eternal Security "One of Christianity's most controversial issues - and one of our most frequently asked questions - involves the concept of Eternal Security. There are good scholars on all sides of this issue, yet we felt it would be useful to explain our own views on this highly charged subject. We believe that the root problem stems from a lack of precision in our definitions. Earl Rademacher brings this to light when he declares that, I have been saved: I am being saved: and, I will be saved. He is simply highlighting the three tenses of salvation."
A More Excellent Way (Audio) This has to be ordered from K-House Store, but is well worth the price. Currently the series can be downloaded for $8. It was on YouTube for a time and has since been removed. The description is "In this audio of Why Should I be the First to Change?, Chuck and Nancy Missler share the fundamental personal issues that led to the crises in their marriage. This series recounts the healing of a troubled Christian marriage from the viewpoint of both husband and wife. What makes the Misslers' story so unique is that at the time of their marital crises, they were Christians -- not nominal Christians or backsliding Christians, but ones who loved Jesus, prayed daily, and were even teaching Bible Studies! Chuck relates his side of the story. A Biblical scholar in his own right, Chuck vividly illustrates what happened from his point of view. Delivered in a direct, witty manner, his personal observations and biblical references combine to make this a delightful session. Nancy then discusses how the Misslers' vastly different personalities and priorities led to conflict and resentment within the marriage. Citing relevant Scripture, Nancy describes in detail how she learned to set herself aside, so that Jesus' Life could flow through her. Humorous, as well as serious, personal anecdotes punctuate the narrative." |

Kent Hovind's Creation Seminar series is one of our favorites. My family found this many years ago and we purchased the VHS video cassette tapes,
then we upgraded to the DVDs when they came out and now Truth in Genesis has made them available for free over the Internet, link below. When our
kids were younger, even then they loved the series because it's presented in a simple, easy way to understand mixed in with a lot of humor. Having said all that, I should mention that Kent Hovind is probably the most controversial of Christian evangelists, especially among athiests and agnostics. He has a website at drdino.com, on YouTube Genesis Baptist Church and on Rumble Kent Hovind Official. On his former YouTube Channel, in the "About" section, it had stated "This is the Official You Tube Channel of the man many call the most hated creationist on earth." Kent is a Christian creationist who advocates for a young earth and presents evidence that you can evaluate for yourself. He also debates professors and scientists who are predominately athiest, which one would expect. You can watch these debates yourself, but I'm providing links to a couple below. This is a good opportunity to see evolution and creation debated in a public setting and make a determination for yourself. Don't let anyone tell you what to believe or what is truth, but look at the evidence and search out for yourself. I should state now that part of Kent's controversy is that he was sentenced to prison for over 8 years. Kent ran his ministry on a cash basis and the IRS indicited him for tax structuring. You can search the Internet for articles on it; usually they are skewed one way or another (for or against), mostly against. You used to be able to click Kent Hovind vs IRS Structuring | Why Kent Hovind Went To Prison Despite Being Innocent to watch a video on it for more details, but it has since been removed. This video had included explaination of structuring and news reports. What happened to him doesn't change the validity of his message, so if you're still interested, continue on below. |
The Creation Seminar Full Series: Creation Science Evangelism presents Creation Seminar Series, about 14 hours of topical studies in support of creation. The series is in seven parts: 1-Age of the Earth: uncovers the follies of the Big Bang Theory. 2-Garden of Eden: describes the pre-flood earth. 3-Dinosaurs: traces the biblical and historical references to dinosaurs. 4-Lies in the Textbooks: shows how public school textbooks are permeated with fraudulent information in order to convince students that evolution is true. 5-Dangers of Evolution: reveals the terrible effects that evolutionary beliefs have had on societies throughout history. 6-Hovind Theory: blends scientific observations with Scripture in an explanation of what could have caused Noah's Flood, The Ice Age, the formation of coal, mountain ranges and The Grand Canyon. 7-Questions & Answers: Q&A for the series.

"Atheist-turned-Christian Lee Strobel is the former award-winning legal editor of The Chicago Tribune and best-selling author of more than twenty books.
His classic, The Case for Christ, is a perennial favorite which details his conversion to Christianity. His recent release, The Case for Grace, won the
2016 Nonfiction Book of the Year from the EPCA. For the last twenty-five years, his life’s work has been to share the evidence that supports the truth
and claims of Christianity and to equip believers to share their faith with the people they know and love. Lee earned his Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri and his Master of Studies in Law at Yale Law School. He was a journalist for fourteen years at The Chicago Tribune and other newspapers, winning Illinois' highest honor for public service journalism from United Press International. He also led a team that won UPI's top award for investigative reporting in Illinois. Lee has been a featured guest on national networks including ABC, Fox, Discovery, PBS, and CNN. He was the host of Faith Under Fire, a provocative program that brought together some of the brightest Christians and skeptics to debate issues central to the Christian faith. He also appeared in the feature film, God's Not Dead 2, as an expert witness for the defense. In 2017 Pure Flix Entertainment released a major motion picture depicting Lee's journey from atheism to faith. The Case for Christ:
"New York Times bestseller, over 5 million copies of the book sold and now a major motion picture. Is there credible evidence that Jesus of Nazareth
really is the Son of God? Former atheist and Chicago Tribune journalist Lee Strobel says yes! In this revised and updated bestseller, The Case for
Christ, Strobel cross-examines a dozen experts with doctorates from schools such as Cambridge, Princeton, and Brandeis, asking hard-hitting
questions - and building a captivating case for Christ's divinity. Strobel challenges them with questions like, How reliable is the New Testament?
Does evidence for Jesus exist outside the Bible? Is there any reason to believe the resurrection was an actual event? This is a talk he gave at a
church on The Case for Christ."
The Case for Miracles:
"New York Times bestselling author Lee Strobel trains his investigative sights on the hot-button issue of whether it’s credible to believe God
intervenes supernaturally in people’s lives today. Strobel travels the country to quiz scholars to see whether they can offer solid answers to
atheist objections. Along the way, he encounters astounding accounts of healings and other phenomena that simply cannot be explained away by
naturalistic causes. The book features the results of exclusive new scientific polling that shows miracle accounts are much more common than
people think." | ||
The Case for Faith:
"In 'The Case for Faith,' journalist Lee Strobel investigates two of the most emotional objections to Christianity, barriers to faith confronted
by believers and skeptics alike: 'Why is Jesus the only way to God?' and 'How could a loving God exist if there is evil and suffering in the world?'
Based on Strobel's Gold Medallion-winning book, this film includes interviews with scholars, theologians, and ministry leaders. Each reaches beyond
intellectual arguments to touch the depths of the human heart. In 'The Case for Faith,' Strobel turns his tenacious investigative skills to the most
persistent emotional objections to belief—the eight 'heart' barriers to faith. This is for those who may be feeling attracted to Jesus but who
are faced with intellectual barriers standing squarely in their path. For Christians, it will deepen their convictions and give them fresh confidence
in discussing Christianity with their most skeptical friends."
The Case for Life:
"Abortion is a major cultural issue of our time. It’s easy to form an opinion based on current talking points or isolated anecdotes and miss the
true case for life. During a recent speaking engagement at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, Pastor Lee Strobel had the opportunity
to speak with a young man, a student at GCU, and hear his five compelling reasons for taking a pro-life stance. In this message, we discover
The Case for Life, and find that for women who have had to face or are facing a difficult situation such as abortion, Isaiah 43:25 offers grace,
forgiveness and hope."
The Case for a Creator:
"'My road to atheism was paved by science...But, ironically, so was my later journey to God.' ~Lee Strobel. During his academic years,
Lee Strobel became convinced that God was outmoded, a belief that colored his ensuing career as an award-winning journalist at the
Chicago Tribune. Science had made the idea of a Creator irrelevant-or so Strobel thought. But today science is pointing in a different
direction. In recent years, a diverse and impressive body of research has increasingly supported the conclusion that the universe was
intelligently designed. At the same time, Darwinism has faltered in the face of concrete facts and hard reason. Has science discovered
God? At the very least, it’s giving faith an immense boost as new findings emerge about the incredible complexity of our universe." |

Answers in Genesis "is an apologetics (i.e., Christianity-defending)
ministry, dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. We focus
particularly on providing answers to questions surrounding the book of Genesis, as it is the most-attacked book of the Bible.
We also desire to train others to develop a biblical worldview, and seek to expose the bankruptcy of evolutionary ideas, and its
bedfellow, a 'millions of years old' earth (and even older universe).
AiG teaches that 'facts' don’t speak for themselves, but must be interpreted. That is, there aren't separate sets of 'evidences' for evolution and creation—we all deal with the same evidence (we all live on the same earth, have the same fossils, observe the same animals, etc.). The difference lies in how we interpret what we study. The Bible - the 'history book of the universe' - provides a reliable, eye-witness account of the beginning of all things, and can be trusted to tell the truth in all areas it touches on. Therefore, we are able to use it to help us make sense of this present world. When properly understood, the 'evidence' confirms the biblical account." |
Science Confirms the Bible:
"Because much of the church has adopted the secular world’s teachings regarding the different 'races' and has not accepted the Biblical
view, most Christians have lost a vital truth concerning the Scriptural teaching on the two spiritual races (but only one physical race),
as opposed to the false idea of different biological races. This discussion will cover such intriguing topics as: the origin of so called
'races,' skin 'color' (is there really more than one color?), 'inter-racial' marriage, the devastating effects of racism in the culture
and the church. There is only one race - the human race! And we are all descendants of one man: Adam."
Tower of Babel: Origin of Races:
"Learn about DNA as evidence for the infinite God, the basics of genetics and natural selection as they relate to biblical 'kinds,'
the origin of so-called races, the truth about Cain's wife, evidence for the worldwide Flood, the actual time of the Ice Age, literal
vs. figurative creation days, the origin of death, dating methods, and more. The Bible is true. Science confirms it, and with the help
of this video, you and your teens will be better equipped to defend it!"
Ark Encounter:
"Ark Encounter features a full-size Noah's Ark, built according to the dimensions given in the Bible. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide,
and 51 feet high, this modern engineering marvel amazes visitors young and old. Ark Encounter is situated in beautiful Grant County
in Williamstown, Kentucky, halfway between Cincinnati and Lexington and right off I-75." Bill Nye Tours the Ark Encounter with Ken Ham: "For the first time ever, watch the uncut two-hour 'walking debate' as Bill Nye 'the Science Guy' tours the full-size Ark Encounter with Ken Ham. This is the historic July 8, 2016, meeting; a unique discussion on creation, evolution, climate change, the origin of life on earth, & more!"
Tinyhouse Prepper Visits Ark Encounter:
Tinyhouse Prepper (Bill and Elizabeth) is a Christian couple who live in a Tinyhouse after they lost 4 houses during the 2008 economic crash.
They've been able to create two businesses so Bill could retire from truck driving, the career he assumed after he lost his construction business.
They have a Thrive Life freeze dried food business being consultants and run a
Tinyhouse Prepper YouTube Channel on living tiny. They
recently purchased a travel trailer so they could start enjoying a semi-retirement life and one of their trips they visited Ark Encounter, and this
is the video they recorded of that trip. |

All the sections above have been strictly from a Biblical Christian perspective, so here I am going to focus on an Intelligent Design perspective.
This includes videos I have come across over the years which take evidences from individuals who may or may not believe in God, but have discovered
through observation and scientific research that they interpret the data differently than do others who have dominated the scientific and academic
landscape. As science digs deeper into the understanding of the universe, the sheer complexity comes into focus and the conclusion that this is all
random having evolved over a long period of time soon becomes untenable. You get a lot of this information in Kent Hovind's Creation Seminar above,
but the following videos come from the perspective of scientists who once believed in Darwinian Evolution. He was debating one female professor and
she asked him, "Do you expect us to believe that all of us came from survivors of a flood on Noah's Ark?" He turned to her and answered Look at
what you're teaching - you want your students to believe we all came from a rock." She disputed that and he asked her to explain, and she went into
the theory of how life evolved about how it rained on the rocks for millions of years...then she stopped and said, "I guess I do believe that." Again,
you will find naysayers and haters on message boards and comments to videos and web pages (which I just saw today) who say "there goes Hovind on
his came from a rock routine", and then deny that is what they believe, but ultimately you will have to look at what they teach - that the universe
came from the big bang where an infinitesimal dot exploded and created all this from nothing. This is a theory that they tout as fact. Science is about
"observation and experiment". There are no facts on evolution (meaning macro evolution, not variation). This set of videos shine light on latest
scientific discoveries that go against evolution theory. And again, as with everything else in life, there will always be those who disagree, rant, hate,
argue and defend their position. You begin to see that evolution is a religion, and there are believers who will never, ever see evidence against their
faith. They will deny it is a religion and call it scientific fact. You will have to ultimately determine for yourself based on your observation.
The links below are of videos that use science, research, observation and interpretation to reach conclusions. Some of the top evolutionists, atheists and academics are interviewed and express their beliefs and arguments to support those beliefs, so you get to see both sides. You will find scientists who have changed their position in the face of new, more recent evidences and findings, and others who cling to their preconceptions with every fiber of their being. All of these videos are available for sale on Amazon and other sites, but they are also on YouTube, some that perhaps should not be on YouTube. I have purchased these for myself many years ago, so I encourage you to do the same. However, the content is linked below, both to purchase and to watch. Again, these videos are about an intelligent designer, not necessarily anyone claiming to believe in God. Darwin's book is always called "The Origin of Species" and most leave it at that. Even according to Wikipedia, which is by no means a conservative or pro-Christian platform, gives the full title. That title is, "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life". In the title itself it denotes that evolution is racist and history bears this out. According to AIG above, "Darwin envisioned the spontaneous formation of simple life evolving into higher forms through the pitiless forces of nature selecting the fittest. Darwin demonstrated how he believed evolution shaped man in his subsequent book The Descent of Man. In it, he theorized that man, having evolved from apes, had continued evolving as various races, with some races more developed than others. Darwin classified his own white race as more advanced than those 'lower organisms' such as pygmies, and he called different people groups 'savage,' 'low,' and 'degraded.' Darwin wasn’t the first to propose biological arguments for racism, but his works fueled the most ugly and deadly racism. Even evolutionist Stephen Jay Gould wrote, 'Biological arguments for racism may have been common before 1859, but they increased by orders of magnitude following the acceptance of evolutionary theory' (Ontogeny and Phylogeny, 1977)." |
Expelled - No Intelligence Allowed:
"Author, actor and political commentator Ben Stein poses the argument that intelligent design and evolution are both valid scientific explanations for the
development of life on earth, and that institutions that don't embrace both views are guilty of stifling academic freedom. Stein makes his case through film
clips, interviews with creationists and scientists and his own acerbic observations, including the opinion that Darwin's theory of evolution is partially
responsible for the Holocaust." One of the most celebrated atheists of all time is Professor Richard Dawkins.
Dawkins says he has no idea how the universe started. He even throws out the idea that some
alien civilization evolved by a Darwinian means and they seeded our form of life and that you might find evidence of that in our signature of biology.
So professor Dawkins wasn't against intelligent design, but is totally against the idea of God.
The Privileged Planet:
"Many scientists and philosophers have claimed that Earth is an ordinary speck of dust adrift, without purpose or significance, in a vast cosmic sea. Yet
current astronomical evidence seems to suggest just the opposite. We now know that a rare and finely-tuned array of factors makes Earth suitable for
complex life. Through stunning computer animation, interviews with leading scientists, and spectacular images of Earth and the cosmos The Privileged
Planet explores a startling connection between our capacity to survive and our ability to observe and understand the universe. Is this correlation
merely a coincidence? Or does it point to a deeper truth about purpose and intelligent design within the cosmos?"

Where Does the Evidence Lead:
"Where Does the Evidence Lead was created for classroom, group, and individual study. It is based upon the content of Unlocking the Mystery of Life and
examines both Darwinian evolution and the scientific case for intelligent design. Six modules (eight to fourteen minutes in duration) each present a specific
facet of the debate over the theories of materialistic evolution and design. Where Does the Evidence Lead Site

Evolution Vs. God:
"Hear expert testimony from leading evolutionary scientists from some of the world’s top universities: Peter Nonacs (UCLA Professor), Craig Stanford
(USC Professor), PZ Myers (UoMM Associate Professor), and Gail E. Kennedy (UCLA Associate Professor). A study of the evidence of vestigial organs, natural
selection, the fifth digit, the relevance of the stickleback, Darwin’s finches and Lenski’s bacteria—all under the microscope of the Scientific
Method—observable evidence from the minds of experts. Prepare to have your faith shaken." The interviewers ask evolutionists if they had a dog they loved
who was in a lake drowning next to a person who was drowning, which would they save? Since man is an animal just like a dog, they answer the dog. There was a
YouTube video of some kids filming a man drowning in a lake and they laughed as they videoed it, and the man died. To them it was entertainment. This is what
evolution brings. |
